About

ABOUT ME

I am an experience courtroom advocate who specialises in all forms of criminal and regulatory law. Cases include:

·       Murder and manslaughter;

·       Serious violence;

·       Aggravated robbery;

·       Rape and other sexual offending;

·       Class A, B, C drug dealing;

·       Serious fraud and dishonesty;

·       Parole hearings.

I graduated with degrees in Law and Science from the University of Otago in 2004. Between 2004 – 2006, I worked as a crown prosecutor in Gisborne. I then worked in London for the Bar Council of England and Wales from 2006 - 2012. This work primarily involved prosecuting barristers for professional misconduct.

Between 2012-2018, I worked as a crown prosecutor for the Rotorua Crown. During this time, I prosecuted numerous criminal trials in the District and High Courts.

Since 2019 I have been working as a criminal defence lawyer in Rotorua and the surrounding area.

Criminal defence work is a privilege, and I feel grateful for the opportunity to help my clients during a challenging and stressful time.
